“The Soup Lady” (Twitter @sfsouplady)

After Hurricane Charley destroyed my home & business in Florida in 2004, life as I knew it changed. It was then that The Soup Lady was born, beginning as home deliveries and later expanding to three local farmers markets and a new restaurant, Bistro on the Green. Five years later, I relocated my business to San Francisco, CA and dabbled in writing about some of the many places I loved in the City. I worked my way from a donations only street vendor to corporate caterer for establishments such as UC Berkely, DraftFCB, Linden Lab/Second Life, & Goodby, Silverstein, and Company. I am now working to highlight some of my 250 original recipes as The Soup Lady on this website.
